Christmas Popcorn- Hot Chocolate Popcorn

Hot Chocolate PopcornGourmet Christmas Popcorn flavor number 3!!! We have my classic white chocolate popcorn and my chocolate orange popcorn. I am now sharing my hot chocolate popcorn.  This hot chocolate popcorn recipe brings back sweet memories of growing up.  In my teens, my house was right behind the junior high.  I remember making myself a snack after walking home from school. My snacks weren’t the healthiest… but boy were they delicious!  One of my favorite frequent snacks was my gourmet hot chocolate.  To make my hot chocolate I would whip up a regular mug of cocoa. The real magic came with my toppings.   Marshmallows, whip cream, chocolate sauce, and chocolate chips were all piled onto my concoction.  It was basically a hot chocolate sundae and who doesn’t like chocolate sundaes.  This hot chocolate popcorn recipe is a tribute to my after school wintertime treats.  My hot chocolate popcorn has hot cocoa mixed right in the almond bark coating.  It is then tossed with marshmallows, chocolate chips and finished with a chocolate drizzle.  Give this gourmet popcorn as a gift or eat it all yourself.  Either way you will be happy you made it. What do you plan to do with your popcorn?
