Peanut Butter Chocolate Kiss Cookies

(Makes 24 Cookies)

24 Hershey kisses

½ cup crisco

¾ cup creamy peanut butter

1/3 cup white sugar

1/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar

1 egg

2 Tbsp milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 ½ cup flour

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

¼ cup white sugar (for coating cookies)

Pre heat your oven to 375 F. Remove wrappers from Hershey kisses. Cream together Crisco and peanut butter. Add sugars and mix until fluffy. Blend in egg, milk, and vanilla. Mix together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add your dry ingredients into your dough mixture and mix until combined. Use tablespoon to create 1 inch cookie dough balls. Roll cookie dough ball into white sugar. Place on cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. Bake 9 minutes until lightly browned. Immediately press chocolate kiss into center of each cookie. Let cool for 2-5 minutes then place on wire rack to finish cooling.
