Strawberry Pineapple Orange Julius

I love summertime and warm weather.  That being said the past couple of weeks have been over 100 degrees here in Utah.  That is just way too hot!  Thankfully there are refreshing treats like my Strawberry Pineapple Orange Julius to help you beat the heat. When I was younger we would spend summer days at my grandpa’s home swimming in his pool and enjoying ice cold slushies.  He had a slush machine that was absolutely amazing.  I remember getting a slushy right when I arrived, filling one up while I was there, and then getting another slushy for the road before we left. There was nothing better to cool you down. Luckily for you, you can enjoy a freezing frothy drink that doesn’t require a fancy schmancy slush machine.  All you need is a blender and about 5 minutes.  Most of the ingredients you probably have on hand such as milk, water, vanilla extract and ice cubes.  The only novelty ingredients you’ll need is pineapple juice concentrate and strawberries. Puree the strawberries then throw everything into a blender and mix for about 20 seconds.  It is that easy.  Then pull out some fancy glasses or plastic cups for your kiddos and garnish with a strawberry and pineapple slice for cuteness.  You will love the fruity deliciousness of this julius. Watch my video, check out the recipe below, and whip up this yummy drink recipe for yourself!  Where will you enjoy my Strawberry Pineapple Orange Julius?
